This episode was made of complete awesome as the trailer suggested. From the START it had me RIGHT THERE. With each of the team separated with a bomb & each of their reactions & Owen's "snap". GAH. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN TORCHWOOD ISN'T BEING BAD.
Jack's past. Oh, he's such a smartass. I love, I love a lot. What he'd said to people about The Doctor? -clutches heart- especially when we know what happened when he found him again & how he COULDN'T be fixed. It kind of broke my heart. The women that captured him were BADASS. They pretty much OWNED.
The scene from New Year's Eve 1999 broke my heart. "The 21st century. It's when it all changes." So THAT'S where Jack's mantra comes from. Somehow, knowing that makes it all worse.
TOSH! POOR TOSH! & yes, she DOES own the whole entire world. Even before she had training. It just made me love her a billion times more, honestly. & UNIT with their red caps =D
IANTO! OMG, IANTO IN JEANS?! & A LEATHER JACKET?! I HAS NO WORDS! IANTO IN A LEATHER JACKET & JEANS BEING BADASS & HITTING WEEVILS OVER THE HEAD?! GUH. IGAFJKBADFJHADVGJLASDVGDG!
Or in more coherent form: Ianto owned. "I really like that coat". Stalking Jack. ON THE FLOOR ON TOP OF EACHOTHER WITH MOUTHS SOSO CLOSE TOGETHER & LAUGHING. OMG, IZ DED. -ahem-
OWEN! OMG, OWEN! Season 2 just keeps making me care about him more & more & STOP IT SHOW. Poor baby -smishes him tight- & I loved how there was so echoes of the geek!Owen that we saw in Adam.
& THEN CAPTAIN JOHN AT THE END. JAMES MARSTERS -squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-
Gwen didn't even annoy me in this episode. Maybe that's 'coz she was hardly there & didn't try to hit on Jack at any point.
