To the Trundra

Well it's back to the tundra of South Dakota And Michigan,,, ouch, Luckily I have a down week planned for training for this week. Maybe one track workout, and 3 in-between days off. Today is one f them. I've been killing myself the past 3 weeks so I'm kind of ready for a break. I did get myself into REALLY good shape at the end of this little cycle though. Hopefully this little break will keep me from overstraining... again. I like to do that a lot. So this is the second Christmas in a row that i haven't been with my family... sad. But this is the first New Years that I've been with my family in about 10 or so years! Can't wait to see Kelsea... feels like it was forever ago that I saw her. Going to see her in about 5 hours!! :) WOOOOO! Should be interesting, I get to meet the WHOLE family this time. Kelsea's also to first of all her cousins to get married. So that's a lot of pressure. BRING IT OOOONNNN!!! No, I do look forward to meeting all of them. Hope they ask all the questions/start the convo's, I don't want to try and get them going... but I probably will.
So Kevarichio came over to visit me for a few days! :) that was a blast. Went on runs, talked a lot about life, went out for dinner a few times, played tennis with Matt... that was funny. They were bot hagainst me, but they figured that I was pretty good soon off, so they started just feeding as many balls at me as possible to try to “beat” me. I love working at my new job, it's a LOT of fun. The people there are amazing! I'm the youngest trainer there, but they still really respect me and help me out a lot too. Justin is a really cool dude a little bit older than me, but he's like a ninja/cop/stunt guy/skate board pro. He's done it all. He was a cage fighter for a while, and did very well. I worked out with him a few times, it's amazing the things he can do. Then there's another cool guy that's a lot older, but VERY knowledgeable and a little more serious but yet fun to talk to. We've had many a conversation before... one time it was just me and him chatting in the back room trainers office, and I found a little sumo squishy to on top of the computer. So I decided to duck tape it to the ceiling. Then I started a nasty rumor that he was the one to do it. Although everybody knew it was me, it was fun to blame the older more serious guy for it. :) We also keep having holiday parties and pot lucks at the club. Which is a lot of fun, and I get to meet a lot of people at those as well. Also got another job on top of this one. Hopefully I can make a lot more per hour, but we'll see. The interview was funny... there was 5 people in there with me and some of them said it was their “second follow-up interview”, so I was like great.. it's going to take a few times to get on the ball. But after the one-on-one interview that lasted maybe 5 minutes. We had a group meeting where he demonstrated the product, answered questions, told us about the company and job and then asked us to fill out a questionnaire. I got done first and he asked if I was done and then to step out of the room. He gave me a company brochure and asked me to go in this other room and closed the door. Then he got them out one at a time I could hear through the door, told them that he would call them with-in the hour to let them know his final decision and sent em on their way. Then he came back in and said, “you got the job, when's the soonest we can get you trained and started?” :) So that was sweet. I'm in the Sales world finally! BOOM BABY!! let's see if I got it. Well I think the only time I write in this is when I'm 4-5 miles up in the air, so I think I'll write ya next on my way to Detroit. God Bless!
