And as for the second question, yes, there are actually plenty. At the top of that list is Mad Men, because I just don't think I have the talent to pull off the multi-faceted characterization, especially on a show that puts so much emphasis on the little moments/expressions a character wears that would make it almost impossible to RP (especially for the character I have in mind D:).

I've been meaning to read DOGS for a while. This is a good reason to start.

Misa Hayase from SDF Macross. There are shades of Mitsuru there, but I'd love to see what you'd do with her amazingly driven character that's also interestingly vulnerable. That and she's one of my most favorite female characters ever.

Out of all the characters you've played, which one would you say you were the closest to?

The problem with DOGS is that the online scanlations do not make any sort of sense whatsoever, and are incredibly incomplete. If you don't mind that, I can point you in their direction.

I haven't seen SDF Macross. I might consider it now.

...I think I've been the most emotionally invested in Tieria, to be honest. But I would say that I was "closest" to Kio.

Other than that, as much as I love the movie in its current incarnation, I would have loved to see it from Jenn's perspective. We get Needy's in the film, and apparently there's a comic series (?!) showing it from the perspective of Jennifer's victims (............what), but nothing strictly about Jennifer.

Aaaaaand lastly, maybe some of the clunkier lines should have been omitted.

AMAZING:
The scene where Needy has sex with her boyfriend, which is one of the most accurate depictions of clumsy/relatively inexperienced teenage sex I have ever seen, including the classic line "put it in."

TERRIFYING:
"I wonder if he's circumcised. I've never tried sea cucumber before."

or

Jennifer's final line of the movie: "My tit."

Not much has changed with Mitsuru and Kanji, possibly because they haven't interacted in awhile. I NEED TO GET ON THAT, I've had her shelved for awhile, but I just canon-updated her so WE WILL SEE.

Jennifer likes Anole but is also pretty frustrated by him because of the grey area he represents which she places somewhere in between how she acts towards guys and how she acts towards girls. She's fine with not thinking about how he impacts her worldview of men not being people as long as she can show up and say crude things to him, but she's a little uneasy about it. Like, she IS capable of carrying on friendly conversations with guys, but usually there's zero emotional impact for her. The structure of camp means you get close with people pretty fast, so any actual feelings of friendship she has make her feel weird.
