SuG Tour 2011 TRIP ~welcome to Thrill Ride Pirates~
May 1st, 2011 at C.C. Lemon Hall
SuG's "TRiP~welcome to Thrill Ride Pirates~" tour culminated with their May 1st finale. Somewhere in the heart of busy shopping district Shibuya, the C.C. Lemon Hall was packed full with a young crowd eagerly waiting to find out what SuG had in store for them. And they were soon to find out!
When the SE "welcome II" started, four dancers bounced on stage waving green glowing bones in the air. Thrilled fans cheered loudly as takeru, masato, yuji, Chiyu and shinpei entered together and kicked off the show at full steam with "mad$hip", the opening track of the "Thrill Ride Pirates" album they released on March 9th. Throughout evening, the big screen behind the members projected various colorful animations, sucking the audience further into the band's universe. Next in line was another pop dance number "Fast Food Hunters" during which each member -even including the dancers- got a chance to take the center stage and demonstrate their skills with a short solo.
