I would say that I only wish for you joy and happiness, but I know that every relationship goes through it's trials and hardships. So I will say that I wish for you both that you never lose sight of the love that brought you together. Hold tight to your love, not just as an emotion, but as a conscious choice that you make every day. A choice that no matter what the day brings, you will love each other and carry each other through good times and bad. Set aside some time each day to nurture, feed and care for your relationship. Even if it's only 5 or 10 minutes being fully present to each other, while the rest of the world fades away. And never let the rat race of busy schedules and responsibilities take away that precious time. May your love grow and flourish, strengthened by hardships and obstacles overcome and sweetened by each tender moment shared.
I do not wish for you to be spared from the difficult times, because it is in these times that your love may grow deeper and stronger. But I do wish for you strength and devotion to walk through the fires, side by side, knowing that you no longer have to walk the path of your lives alone. And in walking the path together, the bonding of the two creates something greater and stronger than each on their own.
May you know the peace and contentment of a life shared in love, trust, honesty and respect.
