I've got a quick question. Does anyone know how to work one of these?

I can make it appear, but I found that out on accident.

I'm not sure. I tried pressing a few keys, and all that did was let me know that it can store photos.

Well, that's something at least. I take it that turning it on and off or, ah, making it appear and disappear hasn't helped?

I'll say. Is that a legitimate worry? Because if so, perhaps "push buttons at random" isn't the best tactical approach to this situation. The photos might have just been a warning.

I was joking on that last part. I might not remember what this is but I do remember that I'm not the type to consider suicide if I'm all out of options.

Just being cautious. That looks like a fancy piece of tech. I wouldn't be surprised if there were safety features built in, in case it fell into the wrong hands.

Seriously though, hopefully my friend will know what it is and how it works.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. It looks close enough to some of what we have back home that I might be able to make an educated guess. But if you've got a friend who will be able to figure it out that might result in a lower... risk of explosions, which is always preferable.
