The Spring Semester

Jun 05, 2007 23:23

Well, I decided to take spring semester, and here I am, roughly 1/3-1/2 way through the thing. At the moment I'm glad I did it. It'll make the future easier upon me, with those two less classes. Plus, Canadian Studies would just suck in only one hour. I would never go if that were the case.

Regretably, I still have to take 2 1/2 hours to travel up there and back, much worse now that I pay, though tempered that I've a well stocked iPod to amuse me. Regretably still, I have essays to do - due soon, and not coming along. Just like the old days!

My laptop isn't in too good condition. The primary reason, above all, is the amount of music on it and all the space it consumes. It can now barely function (at the longest stretch of that word) while on LAN, and has problems at minimal use. It isn't being stretched down by wear. It just needs an upgraded processor and expanded memory - with me, hopefully triple the present, if it is at all possible. External harddrives, given their price, are unfortunately out of the question. It'll have to wait for Christmas, probably.

Little else really has changed. I'm still single, the draft of my prologue is still incomplete, my collections expand, my funds dwindle, and I still hope for the future. I really hope that I lose some weight and keep my training up, more than anything. It really gets me sometimes. I know my weight isn't too much, but it hinders my performance (and makes me look less dashing!) I had been hoping to go running today, but crap and weather kept me off. I've really a need to stop doing many of the things that I do. I'd really benefit.

Well, good night
