Sunday at the lake
Well, lessee...
Spent the day rather quietly:
Mowed the lawn.
Stained front porch and side steps.
Cleaned bathroom and removed plastic from window. (Opened up window, moved from storm to screen window, and made Mocha one happy kitty. It's her spot.)
Decluttered kitchen table and computer desks.
Reinstalled old 2000-era hard drive in a 300 mhz hulk (nostalgia--there's a lot of old Usenet stuff hiding there) and set it up in the living room.
Currently taking a break from the treadmill to post this.
Oh, yeah, I'm installing Ubuntu on the old eMachines unit while sucking down light beer, watching the Coca-Cola 600, and wondering if I should reduce the layout track plan from double track down to single track with sidings.
NASCAR, Conrail, Linux, and beer. Can it get any better?
(Yeah, the Ubuntu install is my Linux loss of virginity. We'll see how (or if) this works out...)
