Not as bad as I imagined
So after seeing those episodes of Tony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmer try the Durian, I felt I HAD to buy a little bag of the freeze dried stuff when I saw it in the Asian market. Not nearly as bad as I imagined, but again, it was freeze dried. More at the blog.
