I’m not so sure about this journal thing anymore. I havent felt the need to write in it for quite a while. I started up a hand written journal because I think they have a lot more sentimental value. I don’t like printing out typed papers , putting them in a notebook and calling it my journal.
But for those who care…
Things have been really busy in my life. Lately Ive been mostly preparing for prom. Branden and I bought our tickets (well, he bought em…bless his little heart) today and my dress came in the mail a few days ago. It’s a really pretty forest green color. Branden and I went to get him fitted for a tux last week and he let me do all the talking. I picked out the coat, color, pattern, and tie. He’s going to match my green dress with a green vest and tie. I know he will be very very handsome. We’re gonna have pink accents (boutonniere and corsage) as well. Pink and green = my favorite =)
Litza and I went right after school today to California Adventure and went on Tower of Terror. I think its wayyyyy overrated. I know a lot of people compare it to the one in Florida so they get disappointed when they go on. It was fun waiting in line and going on the elevator and stuff cuz I had NO idea how the ride worked or anything. It was an adventure. Our picture was “lost in another dimension” because Litza and I flashed bad gang signs while they took a picture apparently. I didn’t know they were taking a picture! We pissed a lot of people off cuz they couldn’t see their picture! WOOPS.
As for now, things are wrapping up at school. I’m gonna be sad to leave it, but I know life will only get better and more exciting after high school. We’ve had a lot of “seniors only” meetings and assemblies. Its really starting to sink in that I wont be seeing a lot of these people that I see everyday anymore. I’m trying not to take these last days for granted.
Oh, and this morning, Litza took the bus to my house so I could give her a ride to school and she apparently missed her transfer so she called me with “uhhh I don’t know where I am!” She ended up in Buena Park so I drove over there to get her at 7 in the morning hahahaha. We were diggin it though because we were so late to school that going to first period was out of the question. We went to Jamba Juice and then took it easy until the bell rang.
Branden and I. We’re better every day. I’m real glad he’s in my life right now. He’s probably more excited about prom than I am and I think that’s really cute. He talks about it everyday. He’s been working a lot of hours to save up for it and it makes me feel really special that hes willing to do that for me to make it a great night. He finally has his license so he’s been driving me around. WOW its soooo great not having to deal with my parents bitching about gas. We just have a good time with whatever we do and don’t over do it too much. He really is one of a kind. I’m a lucky gal.
Yea so that’s about it. I’m gonna go watch some tv and then sleep. Hope everyone’s doin alright out there. =)
