I can't stop laughing. Seriously, you guys. This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Eater FTW.
Most other sundries I have to report on are all wedding-crap related, so I'll spare you all. Well, except one thing: I am faced with a somewhat amusing dilemma - I was informed of a "warehouse sale" for a usually-expensive bridal retailer that will be going on all weekend. Didn't look like I could go Friday due to preexisting plans, but when Saturday was recommended, I also noticed I got an invitation to watch what should be a pretty damn neat baseball game. So I don't even know, you guys. *sigh* I may try to take a slightly long lunch Friday and check the sale out anyway, but I was amused to be pulled in different directions.
Shows came back last night. Castle was fantastic, How I Met Your Mother is trying to get back to what it once was, but it's not there yet. Did all their original writers quit? WTF happened?
I laughed out loud at the banjo bit, but that's about it. I am bored and annoyed wtih the "letting myself go" trope, I'd much prefer Robin dealing with her breakup in less trite fashion. The writing for her last night was horrible - did Cobie Smolders piss someone off? And Neil Patrick Harris was rightfully phoning it in - the character has gone from subversive to sophomoric. Jason Segel looked bored to tears and Alyson Hannigan looked frustrated. The storylines were just not convincing. And they used to be. I'm seeing this through to the end, but it's getting painful.
Tonight marks the return of NCIS and Glee. This pleases me.
j_bkl gets to go to the Yankee game on Wednesday and I don't. ::sulk::
That's about all, notihng really too exciting. Wake me up when Friday gets here. I mostly dropped by to share the link of Tony Bourdain photoshopped into Dancing With the Stars.
