[for the sake of not too many freakouts, let's have this after Ginko is finished whatever it is he plans to do about this one. She is buried in blankets. It feels like this past winter. ...This happens to her far too often.]

Don't mention it! I'd be worried if you weren't feeling even a bit better, with how His Majesty's been doting on you.

He means well, though! That says something, doesn't it?

Well-meaning smothering is still smothering. [coughs once, rubbing her eyes] Could you hand me my glasses? His Majesty is intent on taking them every time I manage to put them on, but I tire faster trying to see without them.

[galddigger]

Oh, sure! Geez, I can't believe he's keeping your glasses from you, too. Must be hard to have to try and see without them! [picks them up and hands them over]

You know, I could still try and talk to him about the whole smothering thing. Maybe he'll listen!

[he takes them because he wants her to sleep. But even with half-frozen insides there's only so much sleeping a body can do at once, particularly after it already had a full night's rest. She puts her glasses on with shaking hands and sighs when that headache recedes]

He's remarkably set in his ways about things like this.

That's just a nice way of saying he's really stubborn though, isn't it?

[Oh, but she notices those shaking hands.]

Are you sure you're okay? Anything I can get you that His Majesty hasn't already?

I think it might be necessary, in order to be an Emperor.

[her hands are pale, and cold to the touch, too. At some point she worked her way to sitting up, though, at least]

I'm told there's nothing I can do but rest and try to stay warm, and hope things improve.

That sounds really boring, though. I know I hate having to stay in bed all day.

[makes herself comfortable on the chair she's pulled up.] I can at least keep you company for a bit, if that helps?
