I can learn... I mean how hard can it be?

Some things never change.

Way to make a good first impression.

Better get cracking! Monday will be here before you know it!

I'll definitely dazzle her with my ice skating prowess.

I'm sure you will.

We need a boy's night out soon. First week of the New Year. Start things right. I've been writing to Kevin - we'll have to set something up.

Sounds good. When does he get back?

Monday, just in time to meet with his pretty young thing for their New Year's celebration.

Factor in a couple of days to recover from the hangovers - Thursday sounds alright?

As long as it's later on. I promised Martin I'd take him to the park to feed the ducks.

Of course it will be later on. What do you think we'll do? Brunch?

Not that there are any ducks around there this time of year, but he insists that there are, so we'll see.

Brunch sounds good. Hooters does brunch?

Oh yeah, they have that migration thing, don't they? Some times you see stragglers.

I was being sarcastic about brunch.

Good. I didn't think any places we've gone to have had brunch.

I hope Kevin will come.

Same here. The Bahamas are a poor substitute for brunch with your buddies.

That's not what I'm concerned about.

He mentioned to me that his ex used to pawn Darlie off on babysitters all the time, and so Kevin's not too keen on putting his daughter through that. I hope in the process of being a daddy, he doesn't forget his friends.

It's going to take a while for Kevin to realize that he's not like Laura and that it's okay to leave Darlie with a sitter every now and then.
