On Wednesday I had my audition for Warner Brothers for a role of Mundungus Fletcher in the newest Harry Potter film, and this morning I heard from the casting director. I was told that they liked what he saw and they asked me to come in again today for a call-back, so that sounds hopeful. We'll see how that goes. Besides that, I have another ( Read more... )

Film or stage or both?

My agent helped to hook me up with Harry Potter deal. As for the theater auditions, I send my resume and head shot out to everywhere I could.

I've been on TV before! I was on The Real World, and Australian Idol, and some other shows!

Lin Fleetwood. Wait. THE Neil McLaughlin? From To Bed? Why have I never used these compendiums before for anything serious? OH MY GOD!

My best suggestion for you is to audition for everything and take whatever is offered, even if it's not what you were really interested in doing. It gives you the experience and puts your face out there, especially if you're new to the field.
