Love this chapter. Love your writing. LOVE. IT.

You write Ky's character so very well, I swear I adore him here. And it felt like I was repeatedly being hit in the chest during this chapter. Just god you really feel for him here and post war Ky is something I don't think I've ever read... I mean like right after the final battle. And the way he reacts to Sol's absence and the shower and adjklajaf... just-just ow. But like in a really really good way.

Also his interactions with Sol, Kliff, and freakin complete stranger, civilian strangers who aren't soldiers even, it was all so good and interesting and fuck but I'm ridiculously happy with his entire personality here. His characterization his interactions and hell all the other characters as well. Can't wait for the next chapter. Can not wait! *is in happy place*

Aw. I would apologize, but this is really the best compliment I could hope to receive, knowing that I managed to convey those kinds of feelings. There are quite a couple of fic ideas where I'm continuously surprised that they haven't been done by the dozen (at least not in the Western fandom), and that's one of them. Ky post-battle was originally meant to be a standalone piece, but then it got eaten by this fic. XD; I'm glad you like his reactions-he's a bit hard to write on the "missing Sol" front because he rationalizes so many things away. ^^

Aw, thank you again. *laughs* I am incredibly fond of normal people versus Ky; he's so... connected to everything and everyone, and at the same time, he's also someone who's a bit out of this world. And I apologize for the delays... I hope to have the next chapter up sometime soon. orz

I'm really glad you enjoyed my comments, I didn't graduate High-school so my English terminology is mostly self taught and I have a hard time conveying what I'm trying to say. It usually ends with me getting flustered and rambling or repeating myself inanely.

Oh and I knooow, postbattle Ky was something I thought would be all over the place.(after I finished GG1-2other) Also I totally agree with what you said and love how you said it... the being connected and yet thing...

It's fine, don't worry. I'm happy if people have something to say.

I think the lack of post-battle fics might be because Ky is a difficult character to write. He thinks a lot and considers so many things; plus, there is his relationship with Sol, which I think is a bit underestimated at times.

"I would apologize" means, "I would apologize for making you go 'ow', but I don't really feel all that sorry since I kind of meant to convey such feelings." *laughs* And 'orz' is just an emoticon - if you look at it from left to right, it looks like a little person kneeling with their head on the ground. It's used as an expression of being apologetic/embarrassed/floored.
