Metric makes lots of sense ;) It's waaay better than imperial.

Okay, really liked this chapter! Particularly the bit with Ky in the chapel and being very Christ-like. I mean, his own nature aside, the rest of the soldiers seem to revere him like a messiah anyway. :O

Oh, and your Sol voice is always ♥. Love his snarky dialogue. And how your Ky has learned to deal with him.

XD There is that. Spacecraft have crashed because of metric-imperial confusions. Sol'd probably be the only one around in this story who'd use 'feet' and 'miles' in his head.

And thank you. :) I admit I'm terribly fond of the imagery because it's so pretty. Ky probably makes a lot of soldiers unsure how to approach him-on the one hand, he leads and protects them, is kind to everyone, but on the other hand, he's so much like the kid brothers and children they left back at home.

Hee, glad you like that. It's a lot of fun to write both their lines. XD And Ky's so determined to give as good as he gets, he'd probably pick that up in no time, politeness be damned.
