This was really good, as usual :D

Out of curiosity, are you from a family of soldiers? From this and other fanfictions, you seem very familiar with military strategy.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

XD I'll take that as a compliment, but no, I'm not. My grandfathers fought in the world war, but that's about it. I just like reading up on military history and tactics. Brutal as it may be, it's also quite fascinating.

As for the "way back when", it doesn't need a description to follow it. It can just mean "a long time ago".
