The way the bottom curve of Steve's.shield hits the top of his arse in this and several other shots in this film surely deserves an Oscar for Best Arse Direction or some such. The scene itself shall more than likely take the MTV Movie Award for Best Gangbang, which I am certain is a category this year. I can't help but think that a porn version of this scene, with cock, is already out there somewhere, but it will never be as good or as pornographic as the original.

Oh, I'm sure. But it's a lot easier to just draw that sort of thing, artistic license and all that. It's another thing entirely to involve an entire CREW and actors and designers and fight choreographers and cinematographers and costumers to bring across this kind of not-very-thinly-veiled smut.

In non-porn considerations, I LOVE how this scene told us quietly what a badass soldier he is. Up to this point, we've gotten to see him do tactics and strategy and be all strong and fast and badass, but noticing the little things, that hypervigilance, even up against what we only assume are the best of the best professionals, really says he's got skills the serum never gave him. And having it all happen in that contained little space amps up the tension and intensity significantly.

And the hotness, of course.

He probably studied up on all that when he was still little, so he could make himself as valuable as possible to the recruiters. And he's always been practical and smart - the flag at the training camp, for instance.

He's always been practical and clever and moral and responsible and brave and selfless and all those other things that Erskine picked him for. Him going from scrawny to big is only a tiny part of his story that tends to be overemphasised, I find.
