[ Having noticed that Christmas is not quite as happy as it should be, Luna has taken it upon herself to try and distribute some cheer since almost everyone is very upset. You can find her

[Leliana watches her for awhile. She understands that today is a holiday, but she really doesn't understand the mechanics of it besides the fact that there's a man called Santa Claus and, judging from the reactions on the phones, he's not a very nice person.
After awhile, she finally asks:]
Are those sorts of decorations common to this holiday?
[Luna stretches on her tip toes to finish looping a garland around the tree. It's a little more difficult than she remembered, but that is possibly because last time she was able to levitate them]
Oh yes, decorations are a very wonderful thing to have during Christmas.
[Leliana looks up at the tree. The decorations aren't really the sort of grandiose ornamentation that she's used to seeing around holidays back home in Val Royeaux, but the girl is obviously putting in the effort. It's quaint, almost Ferelden.] I think that one is rather well-decorated as it is.
So, am I to understand that the town of Mayfield has ruined Christmas like it seems to ruin other things?
[Luna tilts her head and walks around the tree] Yes, though I think it could have used a few more strands near the top. It is still very unusual having to reach up.
[she walks back to Leliana]
It's not quite ruined, I don't believe. Though it's upset many of my friends.
Normally I levitate things. I know I'm not supposed to be telling you this, but at home, I've gotten rather tired of subjects I'm not supposed to be talking about.
[she smiles]
Yes, I also think the bottlecaps may help with Santa.

From what I've been told before today, I expected it to be much happier.

[Luna gives a small hum before looking back at the garlands]
Yes, usually.
[ she takes a step back and gets a full view of the tree]
Do you think this one needs more?

[It seems like a rather mundane action to her.]
I suppose that's a better attitude to take, yes. Is that why you're decorating the town like this?

I'm not sure how bottlecaps may help with Santa... is he fond of these?

I am hoping he is distinctly unfond of them, actually. Though, if nothing else, I think they are quite pretty to look at.

So you are trying to frighten him off, then? I suppose that's not a bad idea, considering the havoc he's wrought....

I think it's good of you to do something like this for them.

[She gestures to an expansive pile of garlands on the ground]
Would you like some?
