YEAR IN REVIEW:
1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Lived in Italy for 3 months, traveled in a foreign country by myself, reported a robbery to the police, etc.

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't remember making any resolutions, and I didn't make any for this year

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, Mary and my grandfather

5. What countries did you visit?
Italy and England

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A job in research

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory?
October 25th, the day my grandfather passed away

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably living in a country that doesn't speak English

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not going home when I had a feeling that I needed to be there

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
It was an insanely lucky year for me, so no, I did not

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My red Murano glass necklace

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
This is a weird question....I have no idea

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Certain study abroad students

14. Where did most of your money go?
Into the Italian tourism industry

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Living in Italy, sorry really repetitive

Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl because it was so popular

1. Happier or sadder? Happier
2. Thinner or fatter? Oh, probably fatter
3. Richer or poorer? Poor, euros will bleed you dry.

Laughing

Stressing out

With my family both at my house and my uncle's

Definately my family, if you could Skype too

No, but I finally found some guys

None

Hate is a strong word, though I have found some new people to dislike AND new people to love

The Twilight series (yes, cheesy, I know)

Missy Higgins

A visit from my sister while I was in Italy

29. What did you want and not get?
A boyfriend, hahaha

27 Dresses

21, and I went out to a bar and hung out with friends

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Less stress

Wow, um, anything that would fit in one suitcase to Europe, hahaha

Good friends

Presidential primaries

My family while I was away, and all my friends

Probably Val, Whit, and Theresa

I can survive in an apartment in a foreign country by feeding myself and traveling
