I can wash my hands of Subway on Monday when I pick up my last check and return my uniform (or most of it; I'm keeping the hat and a shirt because I'm mean that way). In the time between now and my leaving for Duke I plan to be both productive and unproductive as much as possible. I've already had a good start by first making a list of everything to take to my dorm room and then developing a thriving Sims2 addiction. In any case, things are well right now. I like not having to deal with people too much despite that I normally whine about vast loneliness. The only downside is that I have to put up with my mother - as much as I love her, I can only stand so much of her incessant nagging and cleaning and tsk-tsking when I don't change out of my Subway uniform the moment I get home or eat pizza for breakfast.
