"please stop using the word friend.." "...ok. homie."
so the last week or so has been frantically busy, but pretty amazing. much has happened.
in the span of only a few days, i faced the following stellar things:
+ the giving of excellent gifts, of particular notice the card that i gave to anne, and jakes cookies.
+ the receiving of excellent gifts, including new fingerless gloves, my awesome cabby hat, my SA forums account and enough seinfeld and quantum leap to last someone years.
+ the hanging out with friends at an almost constant pace.
+ the driving of miss vessey in the snow, and having fun spinning out and such [ which, surprisingly, she doesnt do that much. shes fine if i'm driving in the snow carefully, but if i want to play around, i can ].
+ the experience of doing almost a full 180 degree spin in the middle of winnicut road late at night; as well as speeding down 101, all in the middle of a pretty harsh snowstorm.
+ being friends with anne again.
+ sleeping over katys house, which included watching 'memento,' 'the shining,' and shooting each other with many foam discs.
+ also, sleeping on a futon with matt and elise, which worked out surprisingly well.
+ sledding a great deal, which included several successful standup runs. i cant snowboard, but i can certainly ride a sled with some rope on it just dandy.
+ free green tea, courtesy of ben.
+ working, and although we were bombed both nights, having fun with it.
+ killing lots of people in smash brothers.
+ hot tubbing, then buying potato skins and cooking/eating them with greigor. eating about forty dollars worth of dried cherries, too.
+ watching ed.
+ lots of other excellent things.
however, there were some lame things, too:
- not having finished several christmas gifts as of late.
- not having had time to roam about the SA forums or my fark account. same with the new paid ell-jay.
- not having had time to fool around with my brothers digital camera.
- not having had time to play with photoshop [ as well as pictures taken on my brothers shiny new camera ].
- not having enough funds to see nobuo uematsu in chicagoland with joesy.
- driving all over portsmouth newington north hampton and seabrook looking for players handbooks, but being unable to find any anywhere.
- having shifted my sleeping schedule to an average of approximately 3 am to 1 pm daily
- feeling altogether bitter, angry, easily agitated as well as somewhat depressed and overall stabby.
all in all, the good outweighs the bad by quite a sum.
it saddens me that ed brings me so much joy nowadays. 'just friends,' the most recently downloaded episode, is on in the background.
what is coming up in the next few days? i feel hurried again. i cant wait to go back to school, where i will be more relaxed. to think this is vacation:
wednesday: clean and work on presents during the day. at night, go to eternals dinner at jakes apartment.
thursday: finish presents [ hopefully ] and attend show at sad cafe.
friday: finish presents if need be, or go in search of a players handbook again. at night, work, then go to sarahs house to celebrate.
saturday: who knows after that. probably wake up on sarahs floor not knowing where i am or whats happened, but simply because thats what i'm like early in the morning, sans the alcoholic intake.
sunday: lectorrrrrr at mass. then, other things.
DDR night soon. i should get in contact with alex and cassandra about that.
