in time we grow lonely, but time isnt done
i find that whenever i have a lack of things to do, and whenever jeff has gone home for the weekend, i stay up much later than i should. i love the feeling of just being able to sleep whenever i want, especially if there are people i care about around, and i can talk to them.
so today we had no classes, and i did next to nothing. it was nice, but i've had this really bad headache off and on for the past few days. i think it might be in part due to my foul mood. which reminds me: the opponent-process theory. i've been contemplating it more lately, like i was a good while ago... probably last spring sometime. it states that for every time you harbor a certain emotion, it will follow and/or was followed by the opposite feeling. i am definitely digging this recently, as i feel generally blank. this general emptiness easily leads to me being upset or pissed off, as i mentioned in a previous entry.
for now, though, i'm pretty satisfied.
tonight i went to exeter very briefly with tim, only to stop at the theatre and talk with everyone inside, as well as to snap a few pictures of the marquee. i got some really cool ones, including the background of my journal now. i also talked to roger and karey about working over thanksgiving and christmas breaks, and they said that i could have a bunch of shifts! she said something about working three or four over thanksgiving break alone. thats amazing! she also said that she'd previously tried to email me, but it wouldnt work out correctly. so after all this time of worrying, they really did want me to come back!!!1 i am so unbelievably excited to work there again, i'm lightening up just thinking about it.
yeah though, the journals still under construction. i'm still fiddling with overrides and such, but i'm totally loving this new outlook.
so yeah. cruising around with tim, felt a little sick, but it was cool. he felt bad for talking so much, but it was fun anyway. hes a funny kid, and he mumbles a lot.
ate ramen.
took pictures.
all in all, a very good day.
PS i'm thinking about starting to read up on kingdom hearts 2 as its getting closer to its release date. this stuff about axel and the blond-haired-kid sounds pretty sweet. also, auron fights in your party? sick, dudes.
PPS i fully plan on camping outside of gamestop for the full day before advent children is released. oh my gosh. i'm so fucking amped for this.
