i spent today with one of the loveliest people that i know.
it is incredible that we have a closeness so strongly bound and intact despite the fact that we don't see each other half as much as we'd like to...and are able to...
also.
today i figured since i love the banana chocolate chip coffee cake at starbuck's so much, i'd try their new chocolate banana smoothie. when the total came up on the screen as 4.28 for a grande, i was like, "sir, what is this. why is it so many monies?" he loved it, he thought it was the best word since sliced bread. he loved it so much that he changed the price to 2.99. then, after buying toilet paper i came home and ate corn on the cob and an entire avocado for dinner.
it's days like this that make me see life as inexplicably beautiful.
