 I met a man about one week ago, and ever since, my head has been swirling with crazy thoughts.  What about this, and that?  Distance versus gain, silly nothings and quiet blushing.  The feeling of hair in hands, the feeling of actual hands, the shape of fingers.  Words enunciated and whispered, moments in loud settings, the word goodbye.  I've been cradling my phone like it is the devil, at least until it gives me some good news, which is coming intermittently.

I don't know what will come of it.  What I do know is that I poked my head out and found something.
