Free furniture!
I decided that the best way to get a couch and chair in my apartment would be to move the shelves and stuff around so that there was space for a couch and chair and envision said items filling those spaces. Because I figured once the space was ready, they would come. And they did. A friend up on spence street helped me walk an old couch from his place to mine this afternoon. for free :). and then this evening on my way to the library I found a chair in the back alley. it's rather retro, but I can deal, the price was right. I slid it home pushing it down a slippery rut in the alley. life in this neighbourhood makes me absolutely joyful. I love being able to walk everywhere and find things I need very close to me. Speaking of which, I'm off to walk to yoga :)
