Unexpected Benefit!
Swine flu has everyone in a panic, including the freak. I've sent my minions to place the Rift suppressors around Cardiff while they're all locked away watching Tron: the general idea is that they (the suppressors) will stop things from emerging at the rate in which they normally would. They're due for a surge, so they likely won't notice until it's too late. The suppressors have a small defect built into them which should blow sometime around June, releasing not only large amounts of energy (explosions are, to borrow a phrase, fantastic) but whatever debris was supposed to come through the Rift. Torchwood will likely be too busy to adequately guard the Hub, and I'll be able to use their Rift manipulator to harness the temporal energy and restore the Earth to the way it was when I had conquered it. No Toclafane, which will hinder me somewhat, but with everyone believing that I am their Lord and Master I will become so. If the Doctor can use humanity's collective hope to regain his power, than I can use its collective despair.
The psychic energy component will be something of a problem, I admit. I can hardly use the Archangel Network again: that would be unoriginal and trite, like cloning someone for the sake of fanservice! I was going to use ATMOS, but they appear to have been lost in the credit crunch, so I'm a bit at loose ends at present. Although, rumors of a sub-wave network have reached me...
But let's not kid ourselves. The truly important thing is Teletubbies!
