I'm just taking a guess, but 'Swinub' sounds like 'swine,' so the Eevee is the fox thing? It's pretty cute.

I'm... actually not entirely sure what a Swinub is supposed to be, Earth-animal-wise. Eevees are like a cross between foxes and puppies, I guess. Some sort of cute and fluffy mammal.

[France glances to the side.]

It looks like it has a pig nose, from what I can see, so it's kind of swine-ish in that regard. But the Eevee really is cute and fluffy.

[ A pause, and Napoleon tilts his head. ]

If she does, sure. I'd give it a good home, as strange as an egg from a mammal is. [ Another pause. ] That'd... technically make it a monotreme, like a platypus.

I suppose that would make sense, if it wasn't for the fact the eggs are almost as large as she is and appeared seemingly by magic. So disturbing...

I don't try to understand much about this place, for all the questions I ask. How the pokémon reproduce is forever going to be one of those mysteries better left unsolved, if you ask me.

I'm not entirely sure I want to know the mechanics of how pokémon reproduce. It might be one of those things better left uninvestigated, most definitely.
