Okay. I'll send her out now then. I'm not sure how long it'll take her to get to there.

[He sets the pokegear down to reach over and lift up one of the Ninetails' tails. And there, resting quite happily, is a Pidgey who looks only a bit annoyed her warmth source was removed.]

Her name's Vanilla by the way.

[Picking up the bird he sets her down in front of the Pokegear so she can see France.]

Vanilla; that's a really cute name for a bird.

[He shifts the 'Gear slightly as he sits down with the eggs again.]

We're currently at the Goldenrod Hotel. Do you know how quickly Vanilla can fly? I don't think the egg should be out in the cold for too long.

[The bird ruffles it's feathers happily at the compliment.]

Named her after a girl I met that was really naive. Figured it'd fit.

[He pauses, poking one of her wings while he does a mental check of where that was on the map.]

Yeah, pretty fast. It might take her a day or so to get there. And if you keep the egg wrapped up in something warm, she shouldn't have any problems getting it back. Might take a slowly pace getting there, so that her energy would be saved up to hurry back.

I'll wrap the egg with some of Marianne's fur; it should keep it warmer than with just regular wrapping. Should I have some food on hand for Vanilla when she gets here?
