He looks slightly singed, dazed, and confused, and the left side of his head is covered in blood, leaking steadily from his ear; he appears to have hit his head extremely hard somehow. Surprisingly, he isn't crying, probably in shock. He stares uncomprehendingly at the screen before the 'Gear drops unceremoniously to the ground, bouncing to land on its side upside-down. You can see France's feet--bare and the left heel scraped badly--weaving awkwardly around in confused circles.]
