it's a fucking beautiful day.

Of course, any day that Chel$ki loses is automatically a little bit brighter, but that really was something special.

How right was that formation? Momo, Xabi, and Stevie all lined up, Riise and Kewell overlapping, everything in place. I was dead tired when the game started, but that made me smile.

(Conversely, how wrong was Chelsea's formation? I'm sorry, but central midfield is one place where they'll never beat us, and Mourinho's attempt at rectifying that actually took away from Chelsea's trademark wing play. Haha, Special One indeed. So special he needs his own damn bus. After the game: Liverpool are a defensive team blahblahblah. That's well and good, but it's not like he fielded his best XI. Ungracious Cuntski. Hey Gabi, looks like the mindgames worked. :x)

Kewell absolutely terrorized Geremi until he got subbed off, which made me ridiculously happy. He's my MOTM, although Xabi and Momo in the center were tremendously efficient, Xabi with his beautiful passes and Momo with that wrecking ball mentality. (And spirit, to stick out those last few minutes with an injury.) Luis Garcia -- all I can say is, as long as you stick one out of three away, I'll be satisfied. That goal was reminiscent of Juventus, anybody else think so?

It was a shame that Drogba managed to score, since Liverpool had been really solid at the back up until then. But JAR was allowed his one error of the match, since he scored that beatiful free kick. (Chelsea wall, I congratulate you.) Also, how hysterical is it that Rafa was seen giving instructions to Cisse even after the final whistle? I LOVE THIS MAN.

As much as I loathe Robben, he nearly carried Chelsea back into the match, but in the end, monkey man's miss was both hilarious and heart-stopping, mostly because hey, anybody remember Gudjohnsen from last year's big cup semi? They did get a minute's stoppage time less this year, but five minutes, injuries aside, still seems absurd. Ah well, we held on this year, just like we held on last year. I don't care who we meet in the final; be it Westham or Boro, I think we'll fancy our chances this year. I'd like one FA Cup double and a side of fries, thanks. Oh, and another Rafatollah sighting in Cardiff would be ace as well. :D

Mourinho is such a fucking -- AUGH, it's not even worth it. I'll revel in the win -- and his loss -- instead. Bwah!

Many wallpaper-sized bundles of love (to be added as they show up):

First chance of the game went to Chel$ki but Drogba headed wide.

Riise's goal, a thing of beauty (when compared to the shite that was Chelsea's defensive wall).

This might or might not be my new wallpaper.

Terry "equalized" but had to climb over Mount Riise to do so. Rightly disqualified.

Oh, Luis. So infurating, yet so good when you need to be.

If they ever make a statue of Luis ...

... he would probably be in this pose.

My love for this team is like the universe, continuously expanding.

Harry schooling Geremi, like he did for most of the match.

Stevie was good but not brilliant, but he didn't need to be.

Crouchy didn't do much. Ferreira was ... pretty as usual?

Sami was a tad shaky a couple of times, but Carra was just immense.

Riise was allowed his blunder, in my opinion (of course, I'm saying this after the match, heh). In the replays I don't know whether Reina was going to punch the ball or Drogba's head. Wouldn't have minded either.

Momo, legend in the making. How is this kid only a year older than me?

Monkey, haha. Hahahha, um. *insert horrific memory of Gudjohnsen's injury time miss*

"Bitch, what."

Nice portrait of jealousy.

Post-match celebrating (featuring happy Stevie and a half-naked, gallivanting JAR):

Just so, so good.

:D :D :D

Adorable.

Oh man, so adorable.

Cisse was disappointing in the last 10 minutes, but oh Stevie, so much love for your tenacity. (And your wrists.)

Can't take it -- boyish smile. too. charming.

It's happy thigh time for Crouchy.

Seriously, Stevie was frolicking.

Poor Carra? Lucky Carra? We'll never know. But oh, Carra's socks make dorkily happy.

Johnny: *leer*
Carra: *flail*
Stevie: whee!

Next, JAR went to mack on Pepe, who, um. *paws*

Not even Rafa was safe.

This one needs no caption.

Oh, yes. Yes yes yes.
