since I last posted anything to this site - the font colour of my posts appears as a murky grey on my feed and I have bugger all idea how to change it! This site is what taught me html, which I think I've also long forgotten. That's the problem with making the move to Tumblr; it's very easy to become lazy. I'm also purely a consumer of fan content

I've always written in some form or another, but I don't think I ever actually finished writing a story until I first published something online and people reacted to it, which gave me all the impetus I needed to complete the fic and then try my hand at more. I still get comments now about that story (good ole Fade to Grey!) I've not read it since it was posted so I can't comment on what it was actually like, but that ability to reach people through words... my goodness.
I would totally be up for being given prompts! I can't say that anything would come of it, but it would be lovely if something did. toblass has provided me with a little prompt which I'm finding very hard to fill, but the academic process of typing one word after another is proving to be rather satisfying. I don't think that the thing I'm writing will be worth publishing, but at least I will have a few hundred words of something of something.
So yes please, prompt me. But only if you're willing to wait six months for something that may or may not happen!

Hmm... I suppose the first prompt would be "Finish Tyger, Tyger," so the second prompt would be...
- they meet up again ten years after the war at a vineyard
- they're on a magical research expedition to the jungle
- something set in Spain (because I hold to the irrational belief that Severus saved his mum as a part of his deal with Dumbledore, so she ended up living her best life with a new Spanish name, and I'm going to say that Severus does, too)
- they're now both employed at one of the OTHER magical schools
- Severus is now joining Hermione as a colleague at St Mungo's

As for your other prompts, I'm going to save them somewhere to mull over.
Oh, and I followed the link to read all about the bookclub (I'm helped run two waterstones bookclubs and one of them was definitely that pretentious - i think it all depends if a man is running it!) I've not commented yet as I'm not signed it, but I love this Eileen! I don't think I've ever seen her made fun and interesting before, I love it!

After reading oodles of sad sap Eileens, I thought there needed to be some that were drastically different! It always seemed like Sev struck a pretty crap deal with Dumbledore for just Lily-who-was-already-married, so... what if he'd added his mum to the deal? Once she was away from Tobias, she could FLOURISH.
