Le Sigh

So... my faith in Apple computers took a beating on Friday when I updated my ipod to the new software that came out. Needless to say it bricked my ipod.... great. Over the past couple days I tried everything under the sun to fix it... to no avail. Even stayed up till 3 am two nights in a row playing around with it ;) So I broke down and called support today and I have to say my faith is slowly being restored.
After about 30 min I eventually got talking to someone who knew what she was talking about, although she'd never heard of my problem before on a Mac only pc, go figure. Anyways, after an hour of trying things with no resolution she said she'd go off and research and talk to folks and get back to me. Lo and behold... she did. No resolution... but after telling her some more info she went off to do more research and said she'd get back to me.
So, now I wait to see if i can turn my semi-working ipod into a fully working one. Cross your fingers.
