End of the year survey

Dec 07, 2010 18:50

Yeah, it's the survey where you take the first line from the first entry of each month. I cheated a bit because I was lucky to have done one entry each month. Sentences from locked entries are indicated with (L) and ones from my paper journal are (P).

January: Seitan Scaloppine was a huge success for Christmas Eve.

February: 1. Make a list of 5 things you can see without getting up:
a. iPhone
b. My crochet cooking hat
c. A pile of cookbooks
d. A pair of bright pink slippers
e. One mostly empty container of vital wheat gluten

March: Spring is on the way.

April: Hungry and tired. (P)

May: I'm pretty sure my next important purchase is going to be an iPad.

June: The Shakespearean Orpheus-inspired one was temporarily pushed aside to make way for another: Petrarchan, relying on imagery of the beach. (P)

July: I was tooling around Amazon for something unrelated and noticed Sailing to Sarantium on my recommendations list.

August: I had orientation on Thursday.

September: I haven't spoken of this since January. (L)

October: I'm having trouble sleeping tonight, so I borrowed a quiz from cat_the_knife.

November: It has been a wonderful past few days.

December: This is ridiculous: I'm not a writer. (L)
I'll post about Chicago soon.
