New Computer and Leadership

 Today's class was on Leadership. My less liked class. We discussed the mission and people. The old saying was "mission first, people always" Yes, I know this seems like a "you can't have it both ways" type of statement but there it is. The discussion in the class was that the world had changed to a "people first, mission always" kinda place. I have issues with this, even though I feel they are right. I am not in favor of using people for cannon fodder and I have pushed back on missions when I felt the risk did not warrent the return. However, if we are just a group of people with a common goal then we don't need leaders. Without the mission, there is no reason to have a leader. Just my opinion.

Oh yeah, my espousa got herself a new computer. Macbook. We will see how that goes.
