Above and Over - higher than,
but we can use above when thing is not directly over another
(a little house above the lake - not over the lake!).
Over means 'covering', is applicable to ages, speed ('more than'),
about books/pages means 'look on next page'.
Above is used to measurements in cases where we think of a vertical scale,
about books/pages means 'written before' .
Across, Over and Through
Across and Over - on/to the other side of line, but in cases of high things over is prefered,
in cases of flat ares prefered is across.
Across and through - defference is as like as difference between on and in.
Through is used for a movement in 3-dimensional space, with things on all sides.
Across is used in cases with opposite or facing ('across a road/river/room', 'across from me').
In front of and Opposite
In front of means 'on the same side'. Opposite - 'on the other side'.
In front of is often the opposite of behind.
If you are in front of place/vehicle/etc it means you are outside it; if you are in the front of - you are inside.
