Signal Boost: The Back to Middle-earth Month Fest (Tolkienverse) is starting!

Thank you alex for allowing this promo post. I hope the tags I put in are the right ones!

March, the Back to Middle-earth Month, is just around the corner. Like every year, b2mem is running a month-long fest to celebrate Middle-earth and its inhabitants, and to create as much fanworks of any kind, length, and size as you possibly can or want! The challenge is a different one each year with varying kinds of contributions.

This year, it's the Tharbad's Greenway Spring Faire, the Marketplace of Middle-earth, with stalls from all over Arda where all kinds of goods are sold, or rather where everybody can leave and claim prompts. Everybody is invited, you don't even need to be on LJ to participate.

The prompts are location-based this year, meaning that anything taking place in, say, Rivendell, shall go to and can be found at Elrond's Secondhand Books, and so on. There are options for every region and time, and also for crossovers, AU, and general prompts. Posting and claiming prompts costs a faire farthing each, and you can earn farthings by writing reviews (see more about that in the rules). Everybody starts with 15 faire farthings to spend.
Prompts can also be claimed by more than one person, and by yourself, and, to quote from the rules, "there are no restrictions on content, either in the prompts or fanworks created in response".

This post gives you a quick idea of the whole thing, here are the rules, and here is the Masterlist of all Market stall.

Come, ye all, and join in in the fun! :o) Last year was my first B2MeM, and the abundance of creativity it inspired, also outside your typical fanworks, was amazing.
