Let’s detail my trip quickly
Saturday: forgot my cell phone, flew to Phoenix, flew to Detroit, had dinner with Aaron, Ryan, Ryan’s mom, and Eric, opened some presents, and went back to hotel (with Whirlpool tub for 2), snuggled up to Eric.
Sunday: got up, went to Eric’s house, met Eric’s dad, played with my new PSP (Playstation Portable) went to Aunt Sheryl’s house, met Aunt Sheryl, Uncle Chuck, Grandma, and of course Eric’s Mom (she was heavily there in spirit, so much I could almost see her) had dinner, mmmm…nummy, gave presents, got presents (blue ROMA jogging jacket), Eric noted during the toast the loss of one member of the family and the welcoming of a new one (makes me all teary), and Grandma asked me to give her a hug when leaving. Eric says he’s never seen her do that before. Woot! In like Flynn. Went back to Aaron’s house to spend night, snuggled up with Eric.
Monday: Can’t remember. Probably played video games, sat around house did nothing, probably ate at Bostone, a Belgian restaurant, great food, crappy hostess, but free appetizers because we were made to wait so long, saw Brokeback Mountain again J Snuggled up with Eric.
Tuesday: played video games, hung around with Aaron and Ryan, while Eric went to work, Aaron’s 50 inch rear projection TV was delivered, Woot! Played video games! Ate Mac n’ Cheese for dinner (homemade), snuggled with the monkey (Eric), Bryan (Aaron and Ryan’s friend came over for the next couple of days), snuggled up with Eric.
Wednesday: Eric went to work, played video games, had lunch with Aaron, Ryan and friends to Thai food, went shopping with Aaron, went to Mongolian BBQ for dinner. Snuggled up with Eric J
Thursday: went to lunch with Eric’s boss Herlinda, her daughter and Eric’s co-worker, Mandy. They are funny gals, but smokers, and at the lunch table too!!!! Went back to Aaron and Ryan’s packed and went to spend the night at the Renaissance Center Hotel in downtown Detroit. Went to Small Plates for dinner. We had the Broadway Baguette, Empanadas, and Teriyaki Chicken. Topped it off with Chocolate Chunk Cookie Sunday and some coffee, went back to the hotel and you guessed it, snuggled with Eric.
Friday: ate yogurt from room service, went and looked at condos The Lamar and The Carlton. I had managed to sneak 40 dollars into Eric’s money earlier. Went to eat at Twingo’s on our way to Leda and Nick’s house. Ate there, yummy bacon and French toast. Eric realized I put 40 dollars in his money, hehe, the look on his face was worth it. Ate yummy Wok fried chicken at Nick and Leda’s and watched Invader Zim with their other friend Brian. Really snuggled with Eric as Leda’s house is COLD.
Saturday: Ate waffles, cooked bacon, went and looked at more lofts in downtown Detroit, ate lunch at Small Plates again, I had the Petit Tenderloins, steak in gorgonzola sauce, OMG good, went shopping for Nick’s present, Baby Henry’s, and stuff for New Years Eve. Played games, met a lot of Eric’s friends, baby Henry, played Apples to Apples, watched Invader Zim again, and celebrated the New Year. Snuggled up with Eric.
Sunday: Laid around the house all day, packed up and went to Westin at the Detroit Airport. Ate at their restaurant, chicken was excellent! Mashed potatoes with mustard seeds, not so good, Eric liked them though. Snuggled up with Eric most the night watching Flip That House.
Monday: Went home L was very sad. Played PSP most the way, got delayed in Phoenix, powers finally kicked in at SFO and saw Melissa as she was headed to Hawaii, got to George’s and ate sloppy joes, recovered my phone, came home and didn’t get to snuggle up with Eric. L
