That's a Good Thing

I've been walking a lot this week. In fact, yesterday I went on two walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. It's starting to get hot around here, but the nightly rain is keeping things cool and it isn't so bad if you go early or late in the day. I've been enjoying it.

In other news, after complaining to several people about how long my CSI: Miami discs were taking on hold at the library, I suddenly jumped from 6 to 3 to In Transit, and now they are sitting at the library waiting for me to pick them up tomorrow. Rock on, I must say. And now I have the second season on hold; I'm number 3 in line, so hopefully they will come relatively soon.

Uh-oh. I just discovered that NaNoWriMo is doing Script Frenzy, where the basic idea is to write a 20,000 word screenplay or stage play in a month. Hmm...this might be right up my alley. I haven't written any plays since I graduated, and I've been feeling a little stuck on my fiction writing. Maybe taking the time to write in a different style will help me jump my writing engine. Okay, I signed up. I guess I'll just have to see how that goes!
