Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Guess where I was this afternoon? If you guessed seeing the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End trailer before everybody else, you would be right. I got two tickets to go to the Pirates Ultimate Fan Event today, which was totally awesome. We got great swag: a baseball cap, a beta test code for Pirates of the Caribbean Online and a limited edition art piece.
We watched a little slideshow/commercial, then watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl with an introduction from Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush and Jerry Bruckheimer. After the movie, they showed us the trailer twice in a row and believe me, the movie looks incredible! Lots of pirates, great special effects, sexual tension...a giant waterfall!
It was a great experience, though I didn't win any of the giveaways. I met some great people who are just as into Pirates as I am, so that was fun, especially when we were waiting for an hour in line. Anyway, pure awesome.
