A Pleasant Day, Well Used
I've gotten quite a bit accomplished today. I've never been a fan of spring cleaning, but fall cleaning always seems just right. Today, I went through my dresser and cleaned out a whole laundry basket's worth of exercise clothes, yoga pants and t-shirts. My mother and I decided that I could only keep four shirts for each group (i.e. theatre shirts, APO shirts), which ended up working out really well. The shirts I wear on a semi-regular basis went back into the dresser, while shirts that have sentimental value ended up in the box under my bed. It's so nice to be able to open and close my drawers without things getting stuck.
It was nice enough today to have the windows and doors open. Our walk this morning was brisk enough that we needed pants and jackets, though it warmed up enough not to be too cold. It was quite pleasant having the breeze come in; it left the house smelling fresh, like the outdoors. Autumn always makes me happier than any other season; soon it will be time to decorate for Halloween, which is my favorite holiday of the year!
