Long and Winding Road

I'm exhausted. Today was long. Seriously long. I went from one side of Houston to another, and I have to do the same thing again tomorrow. I did go this afternoon to my dad's convention, but I'm not going to go tomorrow since he a) can hold down the fort himself and b) I couldn't answer anyone's questions. It wasn't pretty. It was interesting to attend, though, and he did need me this afternoon, so it wasn't too bad. The highway driving, on the other hand, I could have done without. It seems recently like everyone has lost their minds, or at least their ability to drive safely. It was ridiculous, and the fact that a reckless driver caused a huge, fiery, fatal wreck that closed down 610 for hours didn't seem to make the least bit of difference to these morons. It's no wonder I stay in so much - just driving someplace makes me super stressed!

I really have to get some sleep, since I'm getting up at 6 a.m. for the second day in a row. Sleep deprivation is fun!
