Supernatural 4x10 - Good Omens! I was quite uncertain about the Heaven storyline, but I'm loving the way it's panning out now. I love that Sam is sleeping with a demon and Dean is sleeping with an angel. Heh. Also, why is it that Sam's sex scenes are always way hotter than Dean's? Is it because Sam only sleeps with demons and werewolves?
Merlin 1x10 - OMG. I actually couldn't believe I was watching it. It was such a great episode. When Merlin first started, I thought I'd watch it for a bit of cheesy fun in the style of Robin Hood, but it's eaten my brain (but it is still cheesy fun, just slashy, occasionally thoughtful, hot, cheesy fun). I'm really enjoying the way that they're bringing Merlin and Arthur closer together - Arthur taking council from Merlin. Merlin speaking up to the Prince with what he thinks is right (which Gwen is also doing too which is a nice touch). However Arthur comes across sometimes, he obviously inspires honesty in people (apart from the whole magic thing).
And just when I didn't think it could get any better, they throw Doctor Bashir into the mix. I LOVE YOU JULIAN, even if you do kill Merlin's ex. I loved the fight scene between Arthur and Kanen. In fact, I love all Arthur's fight scenes - none of this fencing rubbish, just proper punch them in the face, and probably the balls, fighting.
The scenes with Merlin and his mother were very well played. She's so sure that Merlin is doing what's right and she sees that Merlin and Arthur need each other, even if they don't see it yet. And she sees the change in her boy that Camelot has brought on him - the responsibility he now carries and the weight of living under his secret. I do wonder whether Arthur will find out about the magic this series. I'm guessing not, but I hope so.
ALSO, THE SLEEPING TOGETHER AND THE NAKED FOOT SCENE. Did you see how Merlin's shirt slips off his shoulder as he blows the candle out? I know this because I may possibly have watched that scene on more than one occasion. Ahem.
My love of the NAKED FOOT ON FACE scene is only surpassed by the scene where Arthur and Merlin are readying for battle and Arthur helps buckle the wrist thingy (that's a technical term you know) onto Merlin. I'm sure that's come straight from a fic.
