Kawaii-Kon was Awesome! XD
And I'll repeat it again, Kawaii-Kon(KKon) was awesome! But for a few new reasons, besides it being great and in Hawaii. =D
Me avatar is new and recent from this past convention. So as mentioned before, I went as Jing again. Thus the avatar. XD I have one other picture from Friday, which a friend was sooooo nice to put up(you know who you are XP ) of me and a friend while I advertise the anthology that was on sale at Artist Alley. I saved the pic. lol And now feel like advertising again, but this time as Jing. XD
Raise your hand if you like Conventions! :: hands raised :: Alright, how many of you have read Dramacon? :: more hands raised :: Yay, Dramacon is very good isn't it! XD Now raise your hand if you wish you met a great guy/girl who likes anime, manga, gaming, cosplay, and all that good stuff at a convention like Christie. :: torrent of hands raised :: Whoa, hehe, who wouldn't right? ^^; Well folks, I raise my hand and join you on that wish....then put it down because that wish came true at KKon '08. No I'm serious, I an't joking. ^^;
I always thought it would be nice, great even, to meet a guy at a convention ever since KKon '06. More so after reading Dramacon. What better place could there be? Everyone young and old coming together to enjoy what they all love with a passion that can only be seen at a convention. For me, this was probably the only true place I could ever hope for. Maybe I had my hopes up way too high the first few years after KKon's first year. So with that, I said whatever to this year's KKon and said, "If it happens, great. If not, maybe next year." This was in the hopes that my reverse way of thinking will end up with the greater result like it has so many other times before. And what do ya know! Reverse thinking strikes again! The irony of the backwardness...^^;
So who's the lucky/unfortunate guy? I shall say no names here but one hint: Edgeworth. This hint applies only to those who went to KKon or have seen pictures. Sorry all. ^^; But that's what Google is for! Or did I just give it away? XD Anyways! He's a really great guy, all. =) Meets all my nit-picky criterias, hehe. ^^; Which may explain why I haven't been interested in a guy for yearsss. The main criteria I have: Doesn't mind Yaoi. Or not homophobic about it anyway. I know it's asking for much, but A LOT of guys are. I didn't know any guy who's not. That I knew of anyway. But Edgeworth doesn't mind yay!! XD He's open-minded that way, and in many other ways. Which leads to the other nit-picky criteria. The main thing is...! He makes me the most happiest werido in the world. =D And makes me wonder, how we never met before. lol But oh well. What matters is the present.
So to sum up, KKon was Awesome! XD I couldn't have asked for a better KKon. Except for maybe the first year. And second...and thi-- alright they're all Awesome!! lol Just that, this year holds a bit more dear to my heart. =)
And just to note, I started this on June 25, 2008, 11:51. ^^; See how long it's taken me to type all this. Besides updating my Xanga at the same time. lol
