Wow
What a mixed emotion day.
This morning was AWESOME! It was Beer Bike and the water balloon parade kicked some serious ass. We had a blast pelting people. I got some of Eric's roommates, it was very satisfying. Mundeep hit me in the kidney (the previously ruptured one). That wasn't too awesome. Gloria, Lauren, Leslie, Scott and I stuck together and got people in groups. It was pretty great.
Then we went to the race. We got tons of food. The races were pretty boring except that Martel screwed up BIG time! We don't have alumni so we can't bike in the alumni race, so as a joke we ran around the track instead. About our fifth runner didn't run on the side like he was supposed to and actually caused one of the real alumni bikers from Will Rice to go to the hospital! I feel really bad. I'm now dead tired.
So Glo, Lauren and I came back to the room just now to find out that the Pope died. That's pretty sad. I mean even though I'm not Catholic, the followers of the Pope are devastated. And now that we (people my age) get to see our first conclave, I can only think of Angels and Demons. I heart that book.
