The intent and content of this online journal
I feel before I begin I should outline what exactly the intent and content of this particular journal will be. My current intent is that this journal will be pretty much a mental vomit and a means for me to vent about political or social issues that are bothering me at the moment. For the most part, it will not be an emotional outlet as it is rather public (stating the obvious but still...). Most likely it will be restricted to prose rants or random trains of thought though occasionally I may post some of my poetry or writings possibly some ideas that I've had or occasionally an interesting dream. It will serve as a restricted access to my mind and a means of my own reflection upon the evolution of my thoughts and mental processes. This is not to say that you, darling reader, are to be restricted. Though it does mean that you will occasionally (most likely) not be able to tell when something is fictional or satire. I will do my best to preface any fictional material that comes out by denoting it as such though I can make no promises for my satire or unbridled sarcasm. That business taken care of, I'm going to go away and listen to the first CD I've bought in about three years (Kaiser Chief's Employment). Yes, I did have most of the songs...but now it's legitimate ownership.
