JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT, THEY DRAG ME BACK IN!!
As of now, I'm the (tentative) new vocalist for a new, multi-continental musical project involving my good friend Mike. Ancient history news, I once sang for Mike's main band before a mutual parting of ways to make room for a female vocalist (still currently in the band). No hard feelings, water under the bridge, etc.
I'm really excited about this as it will finally give me a showcase for my style of singing. Yes, I can sing normally, but my heart has always been metal. I've heard the skeleton versions of the songs I'm going to sing and have been told its going to be HEAVY. More info as it comes in.
Yes, I swore I retired from music a few years ago. But this is my way of proving to an uncaring world that yes, Zippy CAN sing and enjoys the fuck out of it.
To give you an example of how I sing, think Darkseed or Shark Island (obscure bands, but hey, did you expect any different from me?). Harsh, but with melody. I also growl/grunt, just no falsettos please. I like my nuts where they are.
