Some of my 4 loyal readers brought up to me how long its been since I last updated. No excuse really, I’ve really just had nothing of real interest to write about. I don’t feel strongly for any particular candidate on the upcoming election. My views on healthcare and immigration are pretty much echoed by a majority of the people, many of whom are better versed on the subject than I am. I will go so far as to say that I hope Clinton doesn’t get the nomination. Of the 2 Democratic candidates, I prefer Barack. Will I vote for him? I don’t know. I do like McCain’s stance on the war and the tax cuts. I really haven’t made up my mind and probably won’t until I’m in the booth. I will be voting however.
Anna’s pregnancy is going extremely well. She’s kind of pissing off other mommies we know because she looks great and is handling it with an ease most women lack. She’s working 2 part time jobs and still finds time garden at home, plus take a cake decorating class. She’s as active as ever, all while being 8 months pregnant. Yeah, mommies are pissed.
We don’t know the gender of the baby, having chosen to let it be a surprise. Why? It’s an Us thing. No names chosen that I’m willing to share, mostly because I’ve found that no matter what name you choose, someone will have an issue with it before the child is born. Afterwards, most people have the common decency to keep their opinions to themselves.
Work is still going well. The whole adult industry is in a down-spin right now, but we’re doing fine considering. There’s an anticipation in the air, everyone waiting to find out what the next big thing is going to be. Many magazine companies are pushing for online content only (as seen in Playboy, Hustler, Penthouse, etc). There will be a time soon where actual adult magazines will be only a memory. Probably not anytime soon, but its headed that way with rising postage and shipping costs. DVD’s are being changed due to a high level of piracy. No real changes really, except for better encoding processes. I don’t know the details, its just going to be harder to pirate them from what I hear. Also, the economy is tight, so frivolous spending is down, which is pretty much what porn is. What can I say, amateur stuff sells better than contract star stuff these days. Porn divas are becoming interchangeable and there is no replacement for Jenna in popularity, even though she’s out of the industry now.
I’ve put on more weight than I like, most of it due to lack of sleep and exercise. I’m not happy about it, and have kind of been in denial over it. I pretty much don’t eat badly, though there are days when I do. Its not a constant thing though. As most of you know, I’ve been going bald for a while now. It doesn’t really bother me. However, I did start shaving my head. I also grew out my goatee Scott Ian style (the bald guy from Anthrax for the unenlightened). It tapped out at 9 inches before I finally got fed up with it and shaved it off. I’m growing it back out, but I don’t think it will get that long again.
That’s about it. I work a lot and waste a lot of time re-playing computer games like Oblivion, Vampire Bloodlines, and Neverwinter 2. I don’t own a Wii, a PS of any sort, or an Xbox. I don’t care to. I also don’t play World of Warcraft. A co-worker bought me a copy in 06 and I played it for exactly 30 days (the period that comes with playing the game). I don’t miss it and have no desire to re-enlist. I’ve played so many RPG’s in my life that this one did nothing for me. I don’t like being social, hate the guild feature and got annoyed at everyone constantly bothering me to fight, wrestle, or join them because I was a priest. I hated having to wait to kill someone for a quest because someone else beat me to it. 5 minute respawn aside, it was annoying. Not a single co worker helped me level up, even though they all insisted I join on THEIR network (which I did, 3 hordes and 1 alliance, all on separate servers). I was basically told to "call them when I was level 40 or so). Only my Evil Twin helped me, and still insists I re-enlist, but like I said, it ain’t happening.
