Blowing in the wind

You know life is funny, because people change. Now the funny part is when you see it evolving, predict the outcome and it comes to frutition. I only recently started posting to LJ again, but i have been reading journals the whole time and watching people change. 3-4 of them to be exact all at different phases of enlightenment.

The trick for me is is to not come off as all knowing or arrogant in posting to them and discussion. However when one does watch from the outside its easy to see patterns. Choices made based on need from time to time negate another need as it becomes less signifigant. I suspect that over time in th enext week or so something intresting will happen.

My instinct tells me that the present will out way the future or the past. You see as humans we come to a place where our current comfort is much larger then our future happiness, and we trick ourselves through some past expirence for its justification.

I had a very intresting situation on LJ this weekend, one that hasnt happened before, not as directly. Often emotional responses negate common sense, and on the web we are left to decide what someone means, before asking them. Whats troubling is that when emotion is involved, some end up going off on tangents that dont necessarily apply to anyone other then thier own insecurity.

Psychology has always been a pet project of mine and I have concluded that sub concious fear of others is easier for them to deal with when directly applied innappropriately to someone other then themselves. Particularly in an environment where the person applied to is not the norm, when they are perhaps the exception to the rule, the application becomes that much easier to make stick.

As human nature is, its always easier to attack the element thats different, a paradox for those who are different themselves in a mainstream sense of the theory. Its will be most intresting for me to view its progression, fear often becomes encompassing, when its fuel is lack of self confidence.

As dylan said "the answer is blowing in the wind", but the question is, when the wind blows do you get a chill? Or is it a refreshing breeze?
