why do i think that by writing a scathing memoir, publicly defaming and embarassing my mother, it will motivate her  to seek treatment? maybe, just maybe, she will see the catacature of a person she has become, and fall in a helpless bawling heap on the floor of the bookstore she discovers my book in. i won't have even told her i wrote a book.

am i just as mentally ill as her?
